After 38 years of operation Wild Waters Water Park closed for good on September 5, 2016. The water park is slated to be razed and repurposed as a gateway into neighboring Silver Springs State Park.
Located adjacent to Silver Springs State Park, near Ocala, Wild Waters was an affordable family water park with attractions to keep you cool during the warm Florida summer.
Wild Waters invited guests to ride the waves in the park's 450,000 gallon wave pool. For thrills you may have tried one of the park's many exciting water slides like – Osceola's Revenge, Bunyan's Bend and Silver Bullet. Nearby the Cool Kids Cove was a one-acre children's water play area and Mini Monster were three short, gentle water slide flumes designed for the park's smallest guests.
