Wild Mountain has this outdoor summer recreation area for all-ages featuring a waterpark, alpine slides and go-karts. Located seven miles north of Taylors Falls, the area is great for a day trip or weekend getaway from the Twin Cities. Parking is free and picnic tables are available, so you're welcome to bring a picnic lunch or grill.
The outdoor waterpark offers several exciting water slides, an 800-foot long lazy river, and children's water park for younger guests. Surrounded by the lazy river is the new Wild Adventure Island. This interactive, multi-level, water play structure has climbing nets, water cannons, bubblers, and four water slides. Situated atop the structure is a giant 350-gallon bucket that saturates the structure every few minutes.
Besides the waterpark Wild Mountain has a go-kart track for racing and chairlift ride to the top of the mountain where you can wind down a 1700-foot long Alpine Slide. There are also volleyball courts, horseshoe pits,
On the dry side, you can race around the Go-Kart track or take the chairlift to the top of the mountain, wind down the 1700’ long Alpine Slide track back down to the bottom. Dare devils can try the Freefall XP (Experience) where you jump out of a two-story tower onto a giant airbag. Wild Mountain also has volleyball courts, horseshoe pits, plus concessions selling a variety of food and beverages.

Reopened June 27, 2020. Waterpark open daily Memorial Day to Labor Day. Other attractions open weekends from mid-May to early-October.
