This is a 40-acre waterpark near Greensboro with five million gallons of water attractions, including 36 rides and waterslides.
Thrill-seekers will want to check out Wet'n Wild Emerald Pointe's many body slides, including one of the tallest freefall slides in the country – Daredevil Drop. For young children, Happy Harbor is a 6,400 square-foot play area where the water depth is no more than 9 inches deep.
Families will find a variety of multi-rider slides, including Dragon's Den, The Edge and Runaway Raft Ride. Over in Thunder Bay you can catch a man-made wave in the park's two million gallon wave pool.
Finally when it's time to relax, Wet'n Wild Emerald Point has a lazy river where you can ride gentle currents while floating atop an inner tube.
