This waterpark near Greensboro has five million gallons of water attractions, including water slides and staples like a wave pool and lazy river..
If it's thrilling water slides you're looking for then you'll want to check out Wet'n Wild Emerald Pointe's many body slides, including Daredevil Drop. This 76-foot tall body slide is one of the tallest freefall slides in the country.
For 2022 the park opens an exciting new attraction Bomb's Away. Choose from two ride experiences, a vertical drop or an enclosed looping slide, both of which begin from an enclosed launch capsule with a trapdoor.
There are also a variety of slides where you can ride with a friend, including Dragon's Den a giant bowl tube ride, the Runaway Raft Ride double tube slide, and The Edge, a giant half-pipe slide. You can also race your friends on the multi-lane Riptide Racer.
Young children are not forgotten either. Happy Harbor is a 6,400 square-foot play area where the water depth is no more than 9 inches deep. Splash Island is where little ones can play in a kiddie-sized wave pool and an interactive water play structure.
Over in Thunder Bay you can catch a wave in the park's two million gallon wave pool. When it's time to relax and soak up the sun, Wet'n Wild Emerald Point has the Lazzee River, where you can ride the gentle currents while floating in a tube.
