This is a small municipal waterpark and aquatics facility that is operated by Denton Parks and Rec. Water Works outdoor waterpark was designed for family fun during the hot Texas summers. An adjacent indoor facility Denton NAT operates year-round.
The waterpark offers a collection of traditional rides and attractions including a wave pool, lazy river, children's splash pad, and waterslides. The slide tower includes two thrilling body slides and two tube slides.
Splash Works allows personal coolers but also has concessions selling a variety of food and beverages, plus locker rentals, and a gift shop. Water park guests also get access to the adjacent indoor NAT pool and slide during public swim hours.
