Typhoon Texas Houston

Located in Katy, near Houston, Typhoon Texas is a family waterpark offering more than a dozen attractions. Visitors will find a large wave pool, lazy river, water play structure, children's attractions, and four waterslide towers.

Typhoon Texas' ride lineup is diverse offering thrilling body slides, tube slides, and family raft rides. The park's Monster Storms slide tower features two signature attractions– The Typhoon and Twister. Typhoon is a Boomerango wall raft ride adorned with an iconic color scheme, the colors of the Texas flag. The Twister is an AquaSphere-Constrictor raft ride with a winding, twisted flume.

Thrill-seekers will find The Duelin' Daltons tower offers The Ballchute, a high-speed body slide where you stand in a launch capsule while waiting for the floor to drop beneath your feet. Once it does, the ride begins with a steep six-story descent into a giant loop. The same tower offers four more sides, including two additional launch capsule speed slides.

Lone Star Racers is a side-by-side, headfirst racing slide you descend while riding on a foam mat. Typhoon Texas is also one of only a few parks to offer Slide Boarding, a video game, and a waterslide experience all in one. Seated on a slide board, you'll use a controller to fire at targets as you speed down this exciting waterslide.

For the park's youngest visitors, the new Typhoon Jr. has 10 kid-sized slides, including miniature versions of some of the park's larger slides. Buckaroo Bayou and Howdy Hollow are splash pads and shallow activity pools for kids.

You'll also find a 375,000-gallon wave pool called Tidal Wave Bay, a water play structure topped with an 800-gallon tipping water bucket, and a relaxing, meandering 480,000-gallon lazy river to float.

Typhoon Texas amenities include daily cabana rentals, changing rooms, locker rentals, and a variety of food and beverage options.
