As of 2014 SplashTown is now Wet'n'Wild SplashTown.
SplashTown is a large 53-acre waterpark located north of Houston that offers more than two dozen water rides, pools and slides. Attractions found at this waterpark include a lazy river, half-million gallon wave pool and a children's water play area.
Water rides include RipQurl, a tube slide that begins with an enclosed flume that winds into a giant bowl and Stingray Racer, the longest, largest and only six-lane Octopus Racer slide in Texas.
Another popular attraction at Splashtown is the Tornado ride that begins from a 75-foot high platform. Here you and up-to three friends descend a 132-foot enclosed flume before dropping into a giant, open-ended funnel that's lying on its side.
For youngsters the park offers a three-story interactive water play structure with a 1,000 gallon tipping water bucket, climbing net ladders and slides. Plus, the park's Crocodile Isle and Leaky Pipes are two water playgrounds exclusively for children under 50 inches and their accompanying parent.
