Splashdown Park Vernon

Canada has the largest number of classic waterslides parks still in existence. Splashdown Vernon (formerly Atlantis Waterslides) is no exception.

Like most classic waterslide parks Splashdown Vernon has ten waterslides desending down a hillside. There are no steel towers to climb. Instead you walk up the hill and pick you slide path for a exciting descent that ends in splash down pool at the bottom.

Zoom Flumes are three fast body slides that start side-by-side from the park's highest point. Also starting near the top is the most popular and daring ride, the River Riot tube ride. For a little less thrills visitors can try the Intermediate Slides, two fun body slides that are bigger than the kiddie slides, but not as thrilling as the Zoom Flumes.

Like many Canada waterslide park's Splashdown Vernon has hot tubs, plus kiddie slides for younger visitors. A concession stand sells food and beverage, plus ice cream and candy. The park's VIP cabanas on a private deck are perfect for families and small groups.
