Sesame Place is a children's theme park based on the characters of the Sesame Street television show. Located just outside of Philadelphia this theme park includes a variety of rides, shows, and waterpark attractions specifically for families and young children.
Besides theme park rides and shows Sesame Place has water rides that are open during the park's summer season. There are eight themed areas within Sesame Place, four of which have water rides– Twiddlebug Land, Sesame Island, The Count's Castle Courtyard, and Snuffy's Sliding Corner.
The park's lineup of water rides includes a kid-friendly wave pool, multiple splash playgrounds, a gentle flowing lazy river, a family raft slide, plus tube and body slides. Opening for the 2023 season is Bert & Earnie's Splashy Shores, an all-new water adventure area with a tipping water bucket, spraying jets, water curtains, and a spraying water tower.
