Pittsburgh's Sandcastle Waterpark has it all. From tube slides to body slides to the large wave pool, this waterpark is a winning destination for your entire family.
The park's attraction list includes 15 water slides ranging from mild to wild. On the wild side are the Boardwalk Blasters, an extreme body slide that ends with a sudden 7-foot free fall into a 12-foot deep pool. Upping the thrills the Lightning Express are 60-foot high side-by-side 250-foot long near-vertical speed slides and for bravest thrillseekers there is the all-new Bombs Away where you plummet in an enclosed slide through an inverted loop.
Sandcastle also has plenty of thrilling tube slides like Blue Tubaluba, Thunder Run, and Tubers Tower. Around the corner Dragon's Den, one of the park's newest rides, is a double rider tube ride that sends riders for a swirl inside a giant bowl.
Other popular attractions include the park's Mon-Tsunami 300,000 gallon, 20,000 square-foot wave pool with ocean-like waves to surf or play in. Sandcastle also offers a large children's playground and of course, a gentle flowing lazy river to float.
