The only indoor waterpark in Vermont can be found in the mountains at the Jay Peak Resort. Covered with a retractable roof to protect you from the outside elements, the roof can also be opened to enjoy warm, sunny days.
Pump House waterpark offers visitors nearly a dozen water attractions in the indoor, climate-controlled environment, plus a seasonal outdoor swimming pool. Ride a wave, float a river, frolic in the water activity pool, or descend one of several waterslides.
Attractions found here include the Double Barrel FlowRider, a continuous sheet of water that you can bodyboard or stand-up board if you've got good balance. Big River an endless float that runs the edge of the entire park. It's not a typical lazy river because instead it's got rapids, strong currents, and some other surprises.
Pump House also has a large kids' play area with interactive water features, a water activity pool, and the Orange, Red, and Green tube slides that you can ride alone or with a friend.
For those seeking a shot of adrenaline, La Chute (French for The Drop), is an enclosed body slide that starts with the rider standing on a trapdoor in a launch capsule . When the door opens, the rider plummets down 65-feet inside the enclosed flume to complete a 360-degree loop in about 6 seconds, while reaching a top speed of nearly 45 miles per hour.
