This municipal waterpark is part of the Pohick Bay Regional Park in Lorton, Virginia.
Pirates Cove Waterpark is the place to bring the kids to cool off during the summer months. The waterpark offers attractions primarily for younger children, including waterslides, interactive water features, a large swimming pool and a sand play area called Buccaneer Beach. One of the main attractions is a Pirate themed water play structure topped with a 300-gallon dumping water bucket.
The park also has picnic pavilions for families and groups, a large deck for sunbathing and a snack bar serving food and beverages.

From I-95 South, exit 163 to Lorton and turn left on Lorton Road at the end of the exit ramp. Proceed on Lorton Road passing under the second overpass and turn right onto Lorton Market Street. Continue one and half miles to the traffic light at Route 1 and stay straight on Gunston Rd for an additional four miles. The park entrance will be on the left.
