Massanutten Waterpark

Due to COVID-19 the waterpark is able to open with limited attractions. Outdoor activity pools and the wave pool will be open, but waves, spray features, interactive features, and waterslides remain closed. Despite the CDC determination that there is no evidence that COVID-19 spreads in cholorinated water the state of Virginia has ignored these facts and implemented rules that are inconsistent with other states and not based on facts or science.

Massanutten Waterpark is both an indoor and seasonal outdoor park that is part of the Massanutten Resort in Virginia. The resort has year-round activities like skiing and snowboarding in the winter, mountain biking, zip lines and golf in the summer. The two waterparks feature a variety of attractions to entertain all ages.

Operating year-round the indoor waterpark is always heated to a comfortable 84°. At the center of the indoor park is a multi-story, interactive, water fortress called Massanutten Meltdown. Multiple waterslides descend from the fortress, while a giant water bucket atop soaks all every few minutes.

Body boarders love the Pipeline, Virginia's only FlowRider, where thousands of gallons of water move beneath you every minute in an endless sheet wave. You'll also find two body slides, three tube slides, and for young children, the Frog Pond is a wading pool up to 12 inches deep that has the perfectly sized Frog Slide.

During the summer the outdoor waterpark is open and offers a large wave pool, racing mat slide, and an activity pool.
