This popular Big Bear Lake recreation area offers family fun all year. Magic Mountain is well known for it's Alpine Slide, the only one in Southern California. Take a scenic chairlift ride to the top of the hill and descend down one of two quarter-mile long zig-zag concrete tracks. It's like riding a thrilling bobsled.
During the summer months Magic Mountain's attractions include water slides, go-karts, a zip line and an 18-hole mini golf course. The park's double water slide descend the the hill into a heated pool. When the air freezes during winter and the snow flies Magic Mountain makes snow to create a large snow play hill with lift served inner tubing.
Also open all year is the park's new Soaring Eagle zip line ride. Ride with a friend on the 500-long, 100-foot descent that reaches a top speed of 28 miles-per-hour.
