Situated on the shores of Storm Lake, King's Pointe is a waterpark resort offering both an indoor & outdoor waterpark, along with 100 guest rooms and suites. The indoor park, protected from the weather, operates year-round while the outdoor park operates for the summer months.
King's Pointe offers water attractions and rides for all-ages. The 20,000 square-foot indoor waterpark has a unique attraction called Electric Eel. This 291-foot enclosed raft ride has both visual and audio effects that you can control. Try riding with sharks, dinosaurs or the more gentle butterflies. There is also an activity pool and two waterslides, one totally enclosed for your enjoyment.
Surrounded by a lazy river, the outdoor waterpark at King's Pointe also has a unique ride called Discovery Plunge. This 420-foot raft ride has a virtual theme with 8 different audio and visual ride experiences. For thrills, guests should try Tyson Twisted Tornado, a large "bowl" body slide, Howling Hurricane, a 250-foot open flume body slide and the Mighty Mustang and Raging Panther, twin body speed slides with vertical plunges.
For youngsters, the park has a zero-depth entry pool, splash pad, and slides just for them. There is also a family pool with six lap lanes, one and three-meter diving boards, basketball hoop and the forever challenging lily pad walk.
