Joliet Splash Station

Joliet Park District closed Splash Station Water Park for the 2019 season and continued the closure for the 2020 and 2021 seasons due to COVID-19. The park district however announced Splash Station will remain closed for 2022 as well.

This is a municipal operated waterpark. Attractions at Joliet's Splash Station include the Midwest's only 200-foot long six person racing slide — Miner's Mountain. There are also two body slides Hot Shot and The Rattler, two tube slides The Tunnel and The Gauntlet, plus a 865-foot long lazy river, 250,000 gallon zero-depth children's activity pool and a sandy play area.
