After an extensive renovation the Great Wolf Lodge New England (formerly the CoCo Key Water Resort at Courtyard Marriott Fitchburg) opens with a new brand and theme. This full-service, family resort centered around an indoor waterpark has large rooms and suites designed with families in mind. Each room is complete with a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Large family suites with a wilderness cabin theme can sleep up to ten guests. Resort amenities include several dining options, gift shops, fitness center, resort-wide WiFi and plenty of kids activities.
The large 68,000 square-foot Great Wolf Lodge indoor water park is climate controlled so the temperature is always a comfortable 84-degrees, regardless of the weather outside. Admission is exclusive for resort guests.
Attractions at the water park include the Howlin' Tornado and River Canyon Run multi-rider tube rides, Alberta Falls tube slide, and Otter Run water slide. Daring thrill-seekers can try the Wolf Tail, a fearsome body slide where you step into a launch capsule. When the floor beneath your feet suddenly drops, you begin a 20-feet free-fall descent that curves into a 360-degree horizontal loop. It's sure to get your adrenaline pumping. There is also a lazy river to float, water activity pools, a multi-level water play fort and a large hot tub reserved for adults.
Great Wolf Lodge New England also has a variety of alternative attractions and activities, like a ropes course, kids spa, arcade with video and redemption games, miniature bowling and indoor miniature golf.
