Editor's note– CoCo Key Water Resort shut down for good on May 1, 2016. The property has been demolished and replaced with a commercial retailer.
This brand-new resort hotel and convention center was located in Waterbury, Connecticut and features 282 guestrooms and suites, plus an exciting indoor water park. The hotel offers free parking, complimentary wireless Internet, and has amenities like a pool and fitness center, business center and full-service restaurant.
Of course the main attraction at CoCo Key Water Resort Waterbury is the 55,000 square-foot indoor water park where the temperature year-round is always a balmy 84-degrees. Attractions at this indoor water park includeParrot's Perch, a multi-level, interactive play island. This large water play structure has water slides for young children, water cannons and a giant dumping bucket that pours hundreds of gallons of water onto the participants every few minutes.
The park also has three, thrilling, 40-foot tall body and tube slides called Gator's Gush, Barracuda Blast and Pelican Plunge, an activity pool with water basketball and a lily-pad walkway, and the Coconut Grove Adventure River that the park promises is "not your mama's lazy river". This fast-paced tube ride surrounds Parrot's Perch and offers several wet surprises while you float it.
CoCo Key Water Resort Waterbury also offers birthday party packages, and there is a convenient store in the water park and large video arcade.
