Editor's note– This waterpark was shut by order of the Winnebago County Health Department and condemned by the city of Rockford. The Health Department revoked the resort’s license to operate pools on August 6, 2015 for failure to correct a series of previously cited violations.
Subsequently the Clock Tower Resort was shut down in November 2106 to perform necessary repairs. The hotel never reopened and in April 2018 the property owner started demoltion of the hotel, but the former CoCo Key Waterpark remains standing for now.
