This waterpark near Toronto is included with admission to Canada's Wonderland theme park. One of the largest waterparks in Canada, Splash Works offers a variety of aquatic fun for escaping the summer heat.
Relax and soak up the sun while floating along the park's lazy river, catch a wave in White Water Bay one of Canada's largest outdoor wave pools, or slip and slide down one of the park's 17 waterslides. For little ones, the park has several kiddie slides and a sprayground.
For the truly courageous, the park now offers the unusual attraction of cliff jumping from the recently added Mountain Bay Cliffs. Experience the thrill of jumping into the water below from jumps as high as 7 1/2 meters or 25 feet.
Splash Works waterslides include body slides, tube slides, and multi-rider raft rides. Race your friends down the Riptide Racer mat slide or ride with two others on The Plunge, a 50-foot free-fall raft ride.
Thrill-seekers will want to ride Muskoka Plunge, a 60-foot (18 m) tall waterslide complex with four body speed slides. Step into an enclosed launch chamber and let the adrenaline rush begin. When the trapdoor opens you'll free-fall into S-curves and 360-degree loops at speeds of up to 40 km/h.
Canada's Wonderland is situated on 300 acres in Vaughan, Ontario, near Toronto. Besides Splash Works Waterpark, the theme park has more than 200 attractions, including 17 roller coasters and two children’s areas.
