This unique local attraction is located within Weeki Wachee Springs State Park. Buccaneer Bay is the State of Florida's only spring-fed waterpark and one of only a few in the country.
Visitors to Buccaneer Bay will find white sandy beaches, exciting high-speed body slides, flume rides, a lazy river, a tube ride, and a beach volleyball court. True thrill-seeking waterslide fans will want to ride Cannonball and Thunderbolt. These double-dip body slides offer a rush of excitement as they descend into the spring-fed pool.
If you want to kick back and relax, then rent a tube and take a leisurely float on the park's lazy river. This natural, spring-fed river slowly flows around the swimming area.
Besides the waterpark, there is also a River Boat Cruise on Weeki Wachee River, Animal Show, and Mermaid Show.
