Texas' newest waterpark is located in New Caney in the greater Houston area. Big Rivers Waterparks & Adventures is part of a 632-acre development.
Big Rivers Waterpark has a wave pool, lazy river, waterslides, interactive play structure, plus slides and pools for young children.
The saying everything is bigger in Texas bodes true for this waterpark. Rio GRAND River is the park's lazy river and the largest in the Houston area and Gator Splash is the largest interactive water play structure in the state with over 300 elements and multiple slides.
Big Rivers also has a five-lane mat racer, six-story free-fall slide, high speed body slide, and multi-rider rafter ride.
In addition to the waterpark rides and attractions, the Gator Bayou Adventure Park offers zip lining, rock wall climbing, a petting zoo, inflatable on water obstacle course, alligator farm and more.
