Beach Park at Isla Blanca

Beach Park at Isla Blanca (formerly Schlitterbahn Beach Waterpark) on South Padre Island was ranked the #1 kid-friendly attraction by Texas Family Magazine. Operating under a new name the park has retained the same owners and management since the beginning.

This 15-acre attraction on the Gulf Coast has 11 exciting attractions and 13 water slides in a natural, beachfront environment. Beach Park is proud of its family amenities that include free parking and free inner tubes. Plus, guests are welcome to bring a family picnic basket, excluding alcohol and glass containers, into the waterpark.

At the center of the waterpark is the five-story Sand Castle Cove water playground with six turrets connected by ramps, stairs, and net climbs. The waterpark also features the nation's largest continuous-wave bodyboarding ride called Surf Rider, a wave pool, five beaches, sand volleyball courts, plus a variety of ride experiences on the Transportainment river system, including four uphill water coasters.
