This 30-acre waterpark located across the street from Busch Gardens Tampa Bay offers water-drenched fun in the sun and the ultimate combination of high-speed thrills and tropical, tranquil surroundings for guests of all ages.
Within a soothing Key West atmosphere Adventure Island offers an unrivaled blend of water slides, tube slides, waterfalls, a large wave pool, a children's water playground, and other family attractions.
Some of the attractions you'll find are Florida's first four-lane racing mat slide – Riptide, double rider tube slides Aruba Tuba and Calypso Coaster, plus Wahoo Remix a family raft ride and the first in Adventure Island to feature synchronized light and sound elements.
You can also check out the world's first dueling saucer ride Rapids Racer. This is a nearly 600-foot-long side-by-side racing slide that you descend on a double tube.
Adventure Island amenities include outdoor cafes, picnic and sunbathing areas, gift shops, plus a championship white-sand volleyball complex.
