Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix Soft Opens New Flume Ride To Raise Funds For Pool Safety

Phoenix, AZWet 'n' Wild Phoenix held a soft opening this past weekend for their newest water ride, Constrictor. The special two-day soft opening was a special benefit for the Phoenix Firefighter Association's Save-R-Kids pool fence safety program.

Park guests who donated five dollars were given exclusive access to the new enclosed tube slide in advance of the general public. All proceeds were donated and the park guaranteed that a minimum donation of $2,500 would be made, the cost to construct and install a fence around your typical backyard swimming pool.

Constrictor will open to the public on Saturday, May 28. Wet 'n' Wild Phoenix opens for daily summer operation starting Thursday, May 26. For more information, visit
