World's Largest Water Playground Coming to New Hawaiian Falls Roanoke

Roanoke, TXHawaiian Falls will open a brand-new waterpark in Roanoke, Texas this summer that will be home to Mega WaterWorld, the world's largest water playground. This six story interactive playground will offer a variety of interactive features and several thrilling descents, including body slides, a three-lane mat racer and a family raft ride. The structure will be topped with a 500-gallon and 1,000-gallon tipping water buckets.

Vice president of construction Mike Prince stands with fiberglass sections of Mega WaterWorld, the world's largest water playground. This new attraction is under construction at the brand-new Hawaiian Falls Roanoke waterpark just west of Dallas and north of Fort Worth.

Mega WaterWorld has a footprint that is approximately 170-feet wide. The park had 75 concrete trucks holding 10 yards each pour the pad. When finished the 6-story water play structure will pump 12,000 gallons per minute through it.

In addition to the play structure, Hawaiian Falls Roanoke will offer a 16,000 square foot wavepool and lazy river. The park is planning to host "Dive-In" movies and concerts throughout the summer season, and will offer private cabanas for daily rental.

Hawaiian Falls Roanoke is scheduled to open Memorial Day weekend and will operate daily from 10:30 am to 6:00 pm through Labor Day. For more information, visit www.hfalls.com.
