Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom Waterpark Given Approval To Reopen

Redlands, CA -- Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom received unanimous approval from the Redlands Planning Commission to reopen the closed waterpark this summer. Owners Aladdin Entertainment said that they're working to have the open by Memorial Day.

Pharaoh's conditional use permit was revoked last year after a different owner held several disruptive all-night raves at the closed park. Now back under the control of Aladdin Entertainment, the company has begun making the necessary improvements with the hope of reopening the waterpark this summer.

The park originally opened in 1994, but has been closed since 2006. Pharaoh's Lost Kingdom was billed as an elaborate family entertainment center offering amusement rides, miniature golf, SkyCoaster, go-karts, arcade and a gated seasonal waterpark.

Aladdin plans to reopen the waterpark, miniature golf, go-karts and arcade. The amusement rides are not part of the plan. For the future, would like to expand the waterpark by adding a wave pool and a new waterslide.
