Clementon, NJ -- Clementon Park & Splash World announced that their undergoing a major renovation, including the largest expansion ever of their waterpark. Under new management for the 2008 season, Oklahoma-based Adrenaline Family Entertainment, Inc. recently purchased this historic, family theme park and water park.
This season the renovation includes a major expansion of Splash World, the park's popular waterpark that is free with park admission. The most significant upgrade is the addition of one of the country's biggest aqua play structures – Laguna Kahuna.
This new expanded area will feature more than one-acre of splashing, sliding, and family fun. Laguna Kahuna is a Polynesian themed adventure featuring 10 slides, 8 different platforms and more than 125 interactive water features like sprayers and jets. Sitting atop the 50-foot tall structure is Big Kahuna himself and a giant 422-gallon tipping water bucket that dumps water on unsuspecting islanders playing in the structure.
"I am thrilled to be part of the transformation of this Southern New Jersey family theme park," said David Dorman, Clementon Park & Splash World's new general manager. "The park is just 15 minutes from downtown Philadelphia, offering arearesidents and groups a clean, friendly, professionally run theme and waterpark right in their own backyard."
"The new Clementon Park and Splash World will give fun-seekers a classic, quality, family theme park experience with beautiful new improvements at a family-friendly price," added Dorman.
"We want this park to be a place families can afford to visit time and again throughout our extended operating season."
Clementon Park & Splash World are open from Memorial Day weekend to Labor Day. The theme park, not the waterpark is also open for HalloScreams weekends in October.
