Shakopee, MN – Don't forget to pack your swimsuits when you head out the door this weekend because Valleyfair's 3.5-acre waterpark opens Saturday, May 27.
What better way to cool off than to chill out at Whitewater Country Waterpark. Included in the price of admission, Whitewater Country Waterpark gives the entire family a splashing good time.
Want to relax and soak up the sun? Then head over to Ripple Rapids where you can float on a tube in a 1200-foot, slow moving river. Or, grab your friends and enjoy wet thrills on Hurricane Falls, which shoots riders in 4-person rafts through a 650-foot course with high-banked turns and sudden drops. You can also enjoy a whitewater tube ride and 5 water slides.
Kids less than 54" tall have their own water-soaked action at Splash Station or Giggle Run, a tot-sized version of Ripple Rapids.
Appropriate swimwear is required. Valleyfair offers a locker room facility and a merchandise shop where swimsuits, towels and other beach accessories can be purchased. Whitewater Country Waterpark is open May 27-August 27, weather permitting. Waterpark hours vary from the regular park hours.
