Starting with the 2008 season Geauga Lake is now a stand-alone waterpark. Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom has 17-acres of water slides, pools and attractions. The centerpiece of the park is Tidal Wave Bay, a 30,000 square-foot, 390,000 gallon wave pool with crashing waves. Nearby Splash Landing is a four-story, three-level play structure with 70 water gadgets and seven water slides. Every two minutes, a giant bucket drenches the structure with 1,000 gallons of water. Liquid Lightning takes guests riding in four-person, cloverleaf shaped tubes into a six-story tall, 253-foot long funnel. Thrill-seekers will also enjoy Thunder Falls, the tallest water slide complex in Ohio with seven slides descending from ten story high platform and reaching speeds of up to 27 mph!
