SplashTown is a large 53-acre waterpark located north of Houston that offers more than two dozen water rides, pools and slides. Attractions include a lazy river, half-million gallon wave pool and children's water play area. In 2008, Splashtown Houston, introduced RipQurl, a tube slide that begins with an enclosed flume that descends into a giant bowl.
