Splashin' Safari has been voted the world's #2 waterpark by the readers of Amusement Today for four consecutive years (2002 to 2005). Located in Santa Claus, Indiana, Splashin' Safari is a 22-acre waterpark that is adjacent to and included with admission to Holiday World. The waterpark features more than a dozen water attractions and rides, plus two wave pools and two lazy rivers.
Thrill-seekers should try ZOOMbabwe - the world's largest enclosed water slide, Zinga - an eight-story, 336-foot long slide that drops riders into a six-story-tall funnel, or Jungle Racer - a ten-lane side-by-side racing, speed slide.
In 2007, Splashin' Safari introduced another exciting ride, Bakuli. This new enclosed slide is 73-feet tall, 325-foot long and features a splashdown into a 60-foot diameter bowl.
There is also plenty to do for young children, including Butterfly Bay a 3,000 sq. foot gentle wave pool. Of course, the best part of Holiday World & Splashin' Safari is the value. Unlimited soft drinks, inner tubes, and sunscreen are included for free.
