For younger guests, Six Flags Hurricane Harbor has Buccaneer Bay, a zero-depth water play area with tipping buckets, spray jets and bubbling fountains.
New at Hurricane Harbor – Riptide Bay – a four-acre expansion of the water park. This newly expanded area includes the looping Dive Bomber and Mega Wedgie fully-enclosed speed slides where the floor drops out beneath sending you free-falling down five-stories at speeds of up to 40 miles-per-hour. Wipeout the first outdoor slide of its kind in North America where groups of 2-to-4 riders swirling in rafts navigate tight turns and two funnels. And Surf Rider a double-sided surf simulator where 50,000 gallons of water per minute flows beneath you at 30 miles-per-hour creating a perfect five-foot wave.
Rental lockers for personal belongings and changing areas with showers are available near the water park entrance for those who plan to spend part of their day at the theme park.
