This 15-acre attraction on the Gulf Coast has 11 exciting attractions and 13 water slides in a natural, beachfront environment. Schlitterbahn Beach is proud of its family amenities that include free parking and free inner tubes. Plus, guests are welcome to bring a family picnic basket, excluding alcohol and glass containers, into the waterpark.

At the center of the Schlitterbahn Beach is the five-story Sand Castle water playground with six turrets connected by ramps, stairs and net climbs. The park also features the nation's largest body boarding ride called Boogie Bahn2, a wave pool, five beaches, sand volleyball courts, plus a variety of ride experiences on the Transportainment river system.

Location & Directions

Schlitterbahn Beach is nestled between the dunes and wetlands on South Padre Island, near the southernmost point of Texas. The site is .6 miles south of the 2.5-mile-long Queen Isabella Causeway that connects South Padre Island to the mainland of Texas. The waterpark is located on the northern portion of the Isla Blanca Park. It is accessible from Padre Boulevard and via footbridge from the beach. Parking is free.
