In only its second season, Raging Waves Waterpark, is rated "the top Illinois Summer Destination" by USA Today. Illinois' largest outdoor waterpark, located on 40 acres in suburban Yorkville, has an Aussie theme and features 18 water slides, kiddie pool, wave pool and lazy river.
Raging Waves Waterpark is a family friendly destination offering rides, slides and fun for all ages. Attractions include thrilling rides like The Cyclone — bowl slide, The Boomerang — high-speed body slide with a four-story drop, and PJ's Plummet — a slide where riders can reach a speed of up to 38 miles-per-hour.
Family activities include Kanagroo Falls, a large interactive water play structure topped with a 750-gallon tipping water bucket. The park's wave pool, The Great Barrier Reef, is where the entire family can ride the waves while floating on tubes. For little ones, Raging Waves offers Koala Kove, a splash area with water features designed just for young children.
