Situated on the shores of Storm Lake, King's Pointe is a water park resort offering both an indoor and outdoor water park, along with 100 guest rooms and suites. The indoor park protected from the weather operates year-round, while the outdoor park operates for the summer months.
King's Pointe offers water attractions and rides for all-ages. The 20,000 square-foot indoor park has a unique attraction called Electric Eel. This 291-foot enclosed raft ride has both visual and audio effects that you can control. Try riding with sharks, dinosaurs or the more gentle butterflies. Inside there is also a activity pool and two body slides, one totally enclosed for your enjoyment.
Surrounded by a lazy river, the outdoor water park at King's Pointe also has a unique ride called Discovery Plunge. This 420-foot raft ride has a virtual theme with 8 different audio and visual ride experiences. For thrills guests should try Tyson Twisted Tornado, a large "bowl" body slide, Howling Hurricane, a 250-foot open flume body slide and the Mighty Mustang and Raging Panther twin body speed slides with vertical plunges.
For youngsters King's Pointe has a zero-depth entry pool, splash pad and slides just for them. The park also has a family pool, featuring six lap lanes, one and three-meter diving boards, basketball hoop and the forever challenging lily pad walk.
