One of seven themed areas at Idlewild, SoakZone is a family waterpark with a dozen attractions, wave pool, lazy river and more for all ages.

Children will find Captain Kidd's Adventure Gallery with six waterslides and dozens of interactive spray features. Also for youngsters, Little Squirts is a children's pool and water fun area.

For more thrills, SoakZone also offers exciting waterslides, family rides and tube slides. Try racing your friends on the four-lane Hydro Racers racing mat slides. Board a raft with a friend and barrel down the Pipeline Plunge or try the twisting Serpentine Slides or speedy Shotgun Slides. For the ultimate thrills, Soak Zone has a couple of exciting Speed Slides.

Recently SoakZone added the Wowabunga Family Wave Pool. Now waterpark visitors can "catch a wave" in the 280,600-gallon pool that generates waves at timed intervals, allowing swimmers to ride the tide.

New For 2013– SoakZone expands with a new Lazy River attraction. This new 185,309-gallon, 15-foot wide endless river will span 603 linear feet, about the length of two football fields. Designed for families with young children the lazy river will be only two feet, four inches deep, have a large zero-depth entry zone and uniquely designed kid-sized tubes along with adult tubes so families can play together.
