Great Waves Waterpark

This 20-acre attraction is one of the premier waterparks in Northern Virginia and part of the Northern Virginia Regional Park Authority system. Great Waves Waterpark has a large wave pool, waterslides, water play structure, great food and plenty of activities for kids of all ages and adults as well.

The park’s main attraction is a 475,000 gallon wave pool that produces man-made waves of up to four-feet. The wave pool is the place to be on a hot summer day. For thrill-seekers, Great Waves has three flume body slides starting from a four-story platform and twin speed slides.

For youngsters the park offers three different water attractions. Minnow Bay is a shallow pool with fountains that is perfect for toddlers and their accompanying parent. The Lagoon is a wide tandem slide for kids and their parents to experience together. Splash Pad is a water playground with sprayers, tipping buckets and jets of water!

Great Waves also has a miniature golf course, batting cages, picnic shelters and pavilion for special events.
