Coney Island Sunlite Pool is the world's largest recirculating swimming pool. Built in 1925, Coney Island's Sunlite Pool has over 3 million gallons of water, over an acre of shallow water and a deep end featuring six diving boards and lanes for lap swimming. There are also four exciting water slides, including the 500-foot Zoom Flume, the 45-foot high Pipeline Plunge tube slide and a speed slide in the middle of Sunlite Pool.
