Included with admission to Carowinds theme park is Boomerang Bay a 20-acre waterpark with an Australia theme. This Outback oasis of family fun features a number of exciting water attractions for all ages. Pipeline Peak is the park's twisted complex of four body slides; Great Barrier Reef is a 700,000 gallon, 25,000 square-foot wave pool and nearby Bondi Beach is a second 600,000 gallon, 34,000 square foot wave pool with 275 feet of "beach frontage". Children and families will love Jackaroo Landing, a three-story water jungle gym complete with interactive water features they control and topped with a giant drenching water bucket. For relaxing, try a cruise a down the 1,000-foot long Crocodile run lazy river while floating on a tube.
