Located in French Lick, Indiana and part of the Valley of the Spring Resort is Big Splash Adventure indoor water park and resort. This family-friendly resort has 154 rooms and suites with flat-screen TVs and free high-speed Internet access, two restaurants, bar, fitness center and video arcade.

The main attraction at Big Splash Adventure is the 40,000 square-foot indoor water park that is enclosed within a glass structure to protect guests from the outside elements, but allow the sunlight to shine in. However, when it's nice outside the roof of the water park can be retracted to open the park to the outdoors.

Big Splash Adventure has a good selection of water rides and activities. Sporting a pirate theme, here you'll find water attractions like the gentle flowing Lost River that you can float on, Buccaneer Bay a three-story water play structure topped with a tipping water bucket, and single and double tube rides called Silver Beard's Revenge and Jolly Roger Jetty. Big Splash Adventure also has two speedy body slides Scallywag Scuttle and the more intense Plunder Plunge.

For adults there is a reserved area called Palm Cove to get away from the kids and for young children The Splish Splash Pool offers water spray features in a zero-depth pool.
