Lubbock Water Rampage Waterpark Reopens With New Owners

Lubbock, TX -- Lubbock Water Rampage, formerly known as Texas Water Rampage, reopened Monday with new owners and a new name. The waterpark had gone out of business in 2008 after 22 years of operation.

The new owners are hoping the renamed and renovated park will be a success this time. In recent years the park has struggled with attendance that was often blamed on inclement weather.

Despite the ownership change and temporary closure the waterpark has retained its managers who oversaw the renovation and repair of the park's equipment.

Lubbock Water Rampage offers a wave pool, lazy river and two serpentine body slides. The park is located at the intersection of Milwaukee and Brownfield Highway and will be open daily from 12 noon to 6:00 pm through Labor Day.
