ACE New Jersey is saying that Six Flags Great Adventure will announce a major addition to Hurricane Harbor on monday. This is unexpected and the only thing previously announced was the addition of a drop box to the existing Proslide freefall slide.

My feeling is that we're looking at a large new slide tower. Probably something similar that is going to Great Escape, but with all new Proslide creations. Some kind of mat racer slide would do wonders for the park. It desperately need capacity!

I've never been to the Hurricane Harbor park in New Jersey. I've heard about the crowds.

Racers seem to be one of the higher capacity waterpark attractions. What makes you think it will be a new tower with new creations?

They are hyping it will be a huge new addition. Announced this late and with no sign of construction yet, its too late for it to be a Proslide Rocket sadly. So, by process of elimination and seeing they are buying a few Proslide products this year already, I'd put my money on the tower.

I went in july 2010 to that waterpark and it was insane. We did like 6 slides in the first 90 minutes the park was open and after that, the crowds were so bad lines were spilling out from every slide tower and you could barely move in the wave pool.

My experience at Six Flags Waterparks on busy days has generally not been positive. Lines are so slow that they're just unbearable.
